Drake Ranch has selected bulls as herd sires that are able to thrive in the rough pasture land of the Texas rolling plains. Our bulls must be structurally correct to travel distances, and maintain body condition throughout the breeding season. We place a high priority on each bulls heritable traits with regards to low birth weight, vigor, and weaning weights. Drake Ranch has used a genetic influence of Vinsons Vision 351B, Trendsetter, and Target 804D32, to produce high quality calves, that will preform in a registered or commercial operation. These moderate framed bulls are stout, rock footed, well muscled, and easy to handle. Our range bulls and herd sires are selected according to desirable EPD's, carcass data, and of equal importance, temperament and disposition.
